Clients Can Now Use Their Afghan Wireless connection to Access Their Gmail Accounts Without An Internet Connection

Kabul, Afghanistan — June 2, 2016 — Afghan Wireless Communication Company (AWCC) ( 2 1), the nation's first mobile communications company, the founder of Afghanistan's mobile communications market and a leading provider of voice, data and mobile payment services to over 4,000,000 consumers and businesses, today announced the debut of Gmail on SMS, AWCC's text-based Gmail service, which enables clients to access their Gmail accounts without the need of an Internet connection.

Gmail on SMS, which is available to all AWCC Prepaid customers, provides users with comprehensive communications capability. Customers can use AWCC's Gmail on SMS service to check their Gmail accounts for new messages, as well as review, compose, send and forward email messages.

AWCC's Gmail on SMS is available as a daily, weekly or monthly subscription service. AWCC clients can select the subscription plan appropriate for their communications needs, by sending the following subscription codes from their Afghan Wireless device:
