| Job Summary: |
| The Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of staff, goods, and materials, ensuring compliance with traffic laws and organizational policies. |
| Job Responsibilities: |
| – Safely drive staff, visitors, and goods to assigned locations.
– Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations at all times. – Maintain accurate vehicle logbook records (mileage, trips, fuel usage). – Conduct daily vehicle inspections (oil, water, tires, brakes). – Ensure the vehicle is always clean and in good condition. – Report any mechanical issues or accidents immediately. – Assist with the loading and unloading of goods when required. – Ensure proper use of fuel and prevent misuse. – Plan routes and ensure timely arrival at destinations. – Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when transporting staff. – Perform any other tasks assigned by the line manager. |
| Job Requirements: |
| – Be literate (able to read and write).
– 2 to 3 years of proven experience. – Valid driving license (appropriate category). – Good knowledge of local roads and traffic rules. – Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance. – Fluent in one of the local languages, both written and spoken (Dari or Pashto). – Possesses a thorough understanding of the tools, equipment, and procedures specific to the job role. – Physically fit to perform tasks requiring lifting, prolonged standing, or other physically demanding activities. – Demonstrates a strong work ethic. – Upholds integrity and honesty. – Capable of working effectively under pressure. – Willing to travel to other provinces and work additional hours as needed. – Adheres to company rules and policies. |
