Afghan Wireless Communication Company (AWCC) signed an historic agreement honoring the Open Access laws under the auspices of His Excellences Acting Chair ATRA and Vice Chair (Technical) Mr. Omar Mansoor Ansari and Mr. Fahim Hashimy, Minister of the Ministry of Communication and IT which will enable AWCC to scale up its National Fiber Optic Network.
As of 6th of April 2020, AWCC is proud to announce the full commissioning of its Ultra-Fast and Secure Fiber Optic Network reaching every region of Afghanistan and connecting Afghan people to the World. This fiber network reduces the effective cost of internet and will be transforming the way we live, we learn, communicate and have fun.
AWCC Chairman Dr. Ehsan Bayat decided to give back to the Afghan people by permanently granting 50% more data for the same price in all data bundles.
This decision at a critical time for the future of the country goes a step further into fulfilling Dr. Bayat’s vision to serve as incubator and accelerator of a brighter future for Afghanistan, by offering the latest technology at an affordable price for every Afghan.
