Job Summary: |
| The Government Relations Supervisor is responsible for maintaining effective relationships between AWCC and government institutions, regulatory authorities, local administrations, and other public-sector stakeholders. The role facilitates coordination with government entities to support business operations, ensures timely processing of official approvals and permits, monitors regulatory developments, and represents the company in official meetings and engagements. The incumbent also provides guidance on government-related matters and supports compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and governmental requirements. |

Job Responsibilities: |
| – Develop and maintain strong working relationships with government institutions, regulatory authorities, municipalities, and other relevant stakeholders.
– Represent AWCC in meetings, discussions, and official engagements with government entities as assigned. – Coordinate and facilitate communication between the company and government authorities. – Build and maintain a positive corporate image with government stakeholders. – Follow up on licenses, permits, approvals, clearances, and other government requirements necessary for company operations. – Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely submission of documents and compliance with government requirements. – Monitor government regulations, policies, and directives that may impact company operations. – Inform management and relevant departments of regulatory developments and potential implications. – Prepare, submit, and track official correspondence with government entities. – Maintain records of government communications, approvals, permits, and related documentation. – Assist in resolving government-related operational issues affecting company activities. – Support company projects requiring government approvals or coordination. – Prepare periodic reports on government relations activities, regulatory updates, and ongoing matters. – Ensure compliance with applicable government regulations and company policies. – Identify potential risks related to government and regulatory matters and recommend corrective actions. |

Job Requirements: |
| – Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Political Science, International Relations, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
– Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in government relations, public affairs, administration, external affairs, or a related field. – Experience working with government institutions, regulatory authorities, NGOs, or the telecommunications sector is preferred. – Strong understanding of government structures, procedures, and regulatory environments. – Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills. – Strong networking and stakeholder engagement abilities. – Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. – Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. – Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. – High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality. – Fluency in English and one local language (Dari or Pashto). |
