Kabul, Afghanistan—February 27, 2020—Afghan Wireless Communication Company (AWCC) (www.afghan-wireless.com) , Afghanistan's first mobile communications company, the founder and leader of Afghanistan's mobile communications industry, has once again demonstrated AWCC's unchallenged position as Afghanistan's most technologically advanced and innovative company, by announcing the partnership with AFGHAN POST the national postal organization of Afghanistan.
AWCC and Afghan Post signed a memorandum of understanding to bolster cooperation, expand relations as well as the need for facilities in the fields of communication, internet and postal services.
According to the agreement, people can now get AWCC SIM cards from 360 Afghan Post offices across Afghanistan along with other services the same way they have access to Products & Services at AWCC’s brand shops.
“We signed an MOU with AWCC that has two dimensions – firstly it provides facilities for citizens, secondly it enables us to deliver SIM cards to people in districts through Afghan Post,” said Mawlavi Rahmatullah Makai, Head of Afghan Post.
“We have invested heavily in the fiber optics, which would provide job opportunities and allow people in every corner of Afghanistan to avail AWCC services,” said Aliullah Sarwari, Deputy Managing Director, AWCC.
“We will pay serious attention to improving our services, quality and prices through every means at our disposal,” said Sulaiman Khurram, Regional Manager, AWCC.
AWCC has worked with government institutions on numerous occasions in the past – including in the area of construction and will continue to cooperate in other fields too.
