Afghan Wireless’ My Money Mobile Payment Solution Now Accepted For Payment of DABS Utility Bills
Kabul, Afghanistan—February 1, 2018—Afghan Wireless Communication Company (AWCC) (www.afghan-wireless.com), the nation’s first mobile communications company, the founder of Afghanistan’s mobile communications sector and a leading provider of 4G LTE, HD Voice, Data, Internet and Mobile Payment services to over 5,000,000 consumers and businesses, announced that the Company’s My Money mobile payments service can now be used to pay electricity bills issued by Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS), (https://main.dabs.af/) , Afghanistan’s National Utility.
AWCC My Money clients, using their mobile device and the My Money App, will be able to transfer funds directly from their My Money accounts, to pay their DABS electricity bills.
In addition, both My Money subscribers and DABS customers without My Money accounts will also have the option of paying their electric bills by visiting a Kabul area AWCC Brand Shop. Each Kabul area AWCC Brand Shop will have a specialized Point of Sale terminal that will be used to process DABS payment transactions.
AWCC and DABS will launch the electronic bill payment service in Kabul, and plan to expand the service so that it becomes available to all DABS customers throughout Afghanistan.
